All bookings must be made by phoning our reception team on 02 9232 5477
Standard appointments are 15-minutes in duration.

Please book a 30-minute appointment if you:
wish to discuss more than 2 issues during the appointment;
require a full check-up; require a procedure (e.g. Cervical screening)
or travel advice; are due a health assessment; or are attending for childhood or travel vaccinations.

If you have an urgent medical problem please let our reception staff know and
we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.
New Patients
All new patients require a long appointment (30 minutes). This is to ensure our doctors have enough
time to understand your background and provide more personalised medical care.

We also ask that new patients arrive at our practice 10 minutes prior to their booked appointment
time, to complete new patient forms.​​
Missed Appointments
A cancellation fee will be applied by your doctor if you do not attend a scheduled
appointment and provide adequate notice (at least 3 hours).
We encourage patients to give adequate notice if they are unable to attend a booked appointment as
this time may then be offered to someone else who needs to see a doctor.
Vaccinations
MLC Medical Centre offers all vaccinations available through the National Immunisation Program,
especially all childhood and routine adult vaccines. We stock many other common vaccines (eg basic travel);
and can arrange prescriptions for specialist vaccines as required. Discuss your requirements in detail with
your doctor during a consultation; additional vaccine fees may apply.

Unlike universal testing protocols, our approach to ancillary testing is tailored to individual requirements and evidence-based best practices. Ancillary tests are conducted based on specific needs, avoiding unnecessary procedures. For instance, additional heart testing, such as stress tests or calcium scores, is recommended only when deemed beneficial.

Our executive health checks go beyond the standard by incorporating coordinated referrals to specialists when necessary. This includes not only providing referrals but actively managing the follow-up process and coordinating future requirements.
